04.10.25 - Field recording & soundwalk workshop at Slomo Studio Berlin. ​​

Our journey began with a guided visit to producer SPOKE’s studio, which led into an interactive and immersive audiovisual class that introduced the rich world of field recording and audio tools.

We presented the origins of the practice, tracing its history from Murray Schafer’s pioneering work to its contemporary role in electronic music.
We also delved into Deep Listening, focusing on Pauline Oliveros and other influential artists in the field.

This session included an overview of the different recording tools and microphone types used at the time — including contact microphones, hydrophones, and geophones. Than we led more than an hour recording  sound-walk with Spoke (music producer and sound technician from Berlin) and participants through Lichtenberg-Berlin industry.
